Travel Wear
What to wear, what to wear. One of the hardest decisions to make is what to wear when traveling especially if you are flying. I've found that comfort and class can pull together to make a successful travel wardrobe. Here are my travel wear basics.
- A classy but comfortable top: Your travel blouse should have 3 elements: cotton, detailing, flow. Cotton is the most unlikely fabric to wrinkle, the detailing will spruce up your look, and the flow will keep you from feeling bound up in the shoebox that is your seat.
- Leggings: Leggings are the perfect travel companion because they are thin, breathable, and stretchable. Just make sure your leggings aren't too snug or sheer.
- Cardigan: A light cardigan is great for staying warm on the plane.
- Scarf: Scarves add a touch of elegance to your attire and they can be a nose guard for those not so hygienic neighbors.
- Slip on shoes: Whatever you do, do not be that person at the front of the security line holding everyone up because you wore lace up boots. Everyone has to take their shoes off at security so wear something that is easy to remove.
