Outfit of the Day: The Weekender

Image
I'm so excited to share my first outfit of the day with you guys! This look is very casual and is perfect for running errands. A lot of these items are thrifted, gifted, or inexpensive. So it's a very easy look to put together. Enjoy! The Outfit Brown Satchel (gifted) Navy Vest from Forever 21's Heritage 1981 Collection (thrifted) Sonoma Tank Top from Kohl's Delias Jeans, Morgan Style Gold Strappy Sandal from Payless The Makeup I used natural tones on the eyes with a soft pink lip.    The Hair This french braid is super easy and classy. I just french braid my hair loosely starting right above the ears. After tying the bottom I tuck the end underneath and pin. Pins of the Week

It's that time again! Here are my Pinterest favorites of the week. Favorite Hair I am loving pastel hair for spring. I can't wait until school is out so I can try out this awesome dipped look. Favorite Nails This is one nail look I might actually be able to pull off. I love the gold touch. Favorite DIY I have a strange obsession with mudrooms, but they don't really exist here in Florida. This DIY is perfect for using your garage as a makeshift mudroom. Favorite Edible I am in love with macaroons. I had never even tried one until a few years back, but since then I've been smitten. I love these pastel colored ones for spring. Most Adorable If you saw my Toddler Fashion post you know I have a love hate relationship with these pins, but this little angel has better hair than I do. I just had to post. I'm hoping to have more posts for you next week. Let me know if there's something you'd like to see.

A Touch of Blush

Image
I've never been a huge fan of the neon colors and tribal prints that so often appear each Spring. However, this year there is one color I'm loving, blush. Blush is the perfect touch of feminity that can be added to any outfit. It's romantic and classic which never goes out of style. These blush trends are great staples that you will find yourself using again and again.

Photo Diary: Spring Break

Image
The weather has been extremely bi-polar here in Florida, so I didn't get to enjoy the usual Spring Break beachside. However, I thought I would share some of my cloudy day adventures with you.  Had a delicious Vegan dinner at one of my favorite restaurants. Their chocolate chip cookies are my favorite.  Went antiquing and saw this. Meow. Spent some time at Epcot's Flower and Garden Festival. I waited 10 minutes to get the monorail shot. This was the only chance I got to wear shorts. Sampled some Florida Beer.  Went to St. Augustine with my mom. Flagler College is one of my favorite historical buildings. It was first known as the Ponce de Leon Hotel built by Henry Flagler. Now students actually live in the unique rooms that he created.  I finally bought one of these journals. I have no artistic ability, but it's fun to be creative. Saw the cast of The Middle filming at Magic Kingdom. En...
