Take a Me Day


Sometimes life can get way too hectic. Working a full time job, keeping up with things at home, and squeezing in time with friends can be exhausting. Every now and then I like to put everything aside for a day and spend some time just being me. There's so many great ways to treat yourself for a Me Day. Here are just a few ideas.


1. Spa Day: Go all out! Have a facial, mani, pedi, massage extravaganza. If you are more frugal (like me) you can always have a DIY spa day.

2. PJ and Movie Day: There is no shame in curling up on the couch with your favorite blanket and watching the entire Twilight saga from beginning to end.

3. Sweat it Out: Sometimes the best way to relieve stress is to get some fresh air and exercise. Spend the day riding your bike around town. Then you can hit the ice cream shop to cool down.

4. Craft Away: Another great stress reliever is finding a fun craft to focus on.

The point of taking a "Me Day" is simply to do whatever you want to do that day. Put all the responsibilities to the side and treat yourself.
